The Zaremba Management Company (ZMC) was formed in 1987 by Timothy Zaremba primarily to manage real estate properties owned or partially owned by the Zaremba Family in Cleveland, Ohio. Initially ZMC managed approximately 3,000 apartment units and 20,000 s.f. of office space. Today ZMC manages over 4,500 apartment units, 250,000 s.f. of office space, and 60,000 s.f. of mini storage.
Timothy Zaremba is the president of ZMC. Tim joined the family business in the 1970’s started by his great grandfather in the early 1920’s. Tim has been involved in the construction, development and management of millions of dollars worth of residential housing, office projects, apartment complexes and retail projects throughout his career.
John Kasmarcak is the Chief Financial Officer of ZMC. John has been with the Zaremba Family since 1977 after working as a CPA for the accounting firm, Deloitte and Touche. John’s responsibilities include not only all the accounting and cash management for the properties, but also the Asset Management of over $500M of real estate.
Don Lydon is the Vice-President of Commercial Properties for ZMC. Don, a 20-year commercial real estate veteran has been associated with ZMC since 1993. Don has directed the development, management, leasing and sales of the firm's commercial and self-storage warehouse portfolio.
Nick Secue is the Director of Operations at ZMC. Nick has worked for the Zaremba family since 1986. Nick is responsible for the daily operations of all managed properties. Included in his duties is the employment of approximately 100 on-site personnel, relationships with the outside contractors and all tenant relations matters. Nick currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Northeast Ohio Apartment Association.
Jennifer Leinweber Ritz is the Director of Marketing & Employee Training at ZMC. Jennifer has been employed with ZMC since 1988 and is responsible for the marketing and leasing efforts at the managed communities. Included in Jennifer’s responsibility is the training of leasing and on-site management personnel, advertising and marketing for the apartment communities and storage facilities as well as other marketing and management projects related to the performance of the properties.
